Lindsey Wilson scores a late touchdown to beat Georgetown. So what's going on in Georgetown? I've been a fan of the Tigers since 1990 and this is one of their worse starts that I can remember.

They are about 4 plays from being 2-0. They will be ok this year but need to find an offensive rhythm. They played well defemsively today but need to shore up a couple of things. They can win the Mid South East and make the playoffs and be peaking at the right time.

This was a game where Georgetown won almost stat except on the scoreboard. They were down 7 to 0 and driving, when they threw a pick six that made it 14 to 0 near the end of the first quarter. They did cut it to 14 to 7 before the half. Second half Lindsey Wilson offensively did very little until the last drive. Made two big completions, one on a third and long, another for the touchdown.

This game was almost the same as last game as far as costly turnovers and way too many penalties. The offensive line played better, but still is struggling on pass protection. If the Tigers can cut out turnovers, and cut down on penalties, (false starts and a couple unsportmanlike) they can make a run.

Anybody know how Jude, Nussbaum and Sowder played for GT?

They haven't really been a factor so far.

Agree that Georgetown outplayed Lindsey this week but an ugly win is still a win.

Lindsey is only in its 6th year of football and Coach Oliver and his coaches have done an unbelievable job at recruiting and getting the team ready to play at the highest level.

They are ranked #3 in the national NAIA poll this week.

It was good to see so many NKy players dressing for this game on both teams.

Lindsey made it to quarterfinals in NAIA playoffs last year and return a pretty good bunch. I though GC had them schemed pretty well. Just came down to a couple of plays. Good Luck to both teams the rest of the way. You are right about the MSC east division. GC should coast through it. The West is murderers row.
