Basketball season for 2015/2016 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Greenup County. Remember, please be constructive.

I hear GC got a new kid that moved up from Florida that will really help the team this year. I don't know anything about him but I'd say that unless he turns out to be like the best player in the region this year that Coach Tackett and crew will be in for another long and disappointing season. They are very guard heavy with a mixture of experience & youth at the guard position. They lost 3 players that saw significant time at the Forward and Center positions last year and overall have very little talent & experience returning to fill those positions.

There are some athletes on the team so if Tackett can get them to buy in and play hard & smart each possession and not allow 1-2 players to as they please, GC could give any Region team a run for their money any given night.

So are they in for a long season or gonna give any team in the region a run?

If Coach Kidwell joins the staff, I will bet they will be better prepared than most they play.

I'm as confused as you. I interpreted that to mean they could win as few as 5 games or as many as 20 games. LOL!

His first name is Micheal, 6'6 and he played at a prep school in Florida before moving here and yes they said he can play lol.
