Tough to tell from that replay. When did the ball come loose? Did the defender get up while picking up the ball or was he on the ground when he took possession?

The umps screwed my Cardinals...ROYALLY! Whether it was a fumble or not (it wasn't), the fact that Jarrell White, #2 in the video for LaSalle, was lying on the ground when he took the ball from our QB and then stood up, using his elbow for leverage says that worst case for Colerain is a turnover at that spot.

 

It should have NEVER been what it was. It was a 14 point swing in the game. Colerain had almost 500 yards of offense and generally dominated the game. We made several unforced mistakes which ultimately kept an inferior Lancer squad in the game longer than they should have been.

 

It was one of those games where the Ohio State bound kicker for LaSalle, Drue Chrisman (6'5" 194 lbs), got all the attention for the 42 yard kick with 10 seconds left but earlier in the game, after missing two XP's, Colerain's kicker Christian Dinevski nailed a 50 yarder (school record) to extend Colerain's lead to 29-22.

 

The good news is, LaSalle has to come to Colerain next year to finish off the 2 year contract. :rage:

Yes but I believe he is going as a punter.

 

47 yard field goal by next years OSU punter, he had another 10-15 yards of leg on it as well. Crazy.
