Hilltoppers up 14-0, about a minute left in the 1st quarter. Shoulda/Coulda/Woulda been 21-0 WKU. They fumbled in the end zone on their drive before last, LA Tech recovered.

Not really. Kick return to mid field after a late hit penalty. WKU stalled and took the FG after moving inside the twenty five.

Even though LA Tech scored, they lined up in double tight Straight T from about 7 out....made me tear up a little.

 

The announcers had no clue what to call the formation, then Dave Wanstedt (Sp?) called it the Wishbone & he was wrong. LA Tech has lined up in a 'dinosaur' twice tonight and those guys in the booth didn't have a clue. :lol2:

WKU took a blow when they lost Leon Allen. They look good for this game, but will miss him as the season goes on. Nothing official yet of course, but if you saw his knee injury, you know he's done.
