Me too...but I am glad he is retired before he is seriously (as in fatally) injured. He is most likely going to LoPresti's Forest Lane farm to eat, sleep, poop massive amounts and do horse stuff.

 

And be admired. Will be a great ambassador for horse racing.

Didn't want to believe you, so I went to Bloodhorse.com to confirm.

 

As a FAN of the sport & not really a big gambler on the sport, I am Saddened by this.

 

If ever asked my favorite horse of all time . . its always been Easy Goer, but Dan is my 1A.

 

Love horse racing. Have for 35 years.

 

Easy Goer is my all-time favorite also. Wise Dan would be on my top ten list.
