I actually was planning on attending.... but my alarm did not go off for some reason and I woke up way to late....

After competing in 4 of 18 events on Friday the GRC team overall is in 5th place...tied with Tates Creek.

Tristian Jones placed 1st in the discuss with a throw of 142-08. Tristian is currently ranked 3rd in the state in the discuss.

In preliminary competition, the boys 4X100, 4X200, and 4X400 relay teams advanced to the finals.

Henry Hudson placed 1st in the preliminary of the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 40.46. He is ranked in the top 10 in the state in this event.

Michael Clark advanced to the finals in the 100 meter dash.

In Region 3 AA the Western Hills men had a repeat of victory, scoring 129 points with Western High School finishing second with a score of 84. Western has a lot of spead and should give Tilman a run for their money in the sprints and short relays. For the girls Presentation won with 112 points and Henry Co finished second scoring 60 points.

Good Luck to Western Hills. The coach over there is building a solid program.

Not the best day that Raceland has had, Rams finished 6th of 23 teams in the Class "A", region4 track finals at Harrodsburg. Chris lacks of Raceland Finished 3rd in the 110 hurdles just missing the 2nd place finish needed to qualify for the state meet. Chris has however qualified for the State Meet at Lexington Dunbar h.s. next weekend in the high jump and pole vault competetion :jump: :walk: . Good luck Chris. :thumb:

^ Other Raceland finishes in the region 4 meet were: Josh Smith had a 2nd place finish in the triple jump and 5th place in the 100 and 200; J.T. Forrest had a 5th place in discuss; Brad Rodgers had a 5th in shot put and Logan Watts finished 4th in the 1600. Rams were 6th overall in the region.
