Refs explain this to me: McCracken gained 9 yards on a pass play. There was a horse collar on Warren Central and a block in the back on McCracken which they denoted as offsetting. There was a personal foul on McCracken as well. The officials marked off 15 yards from the end of the 9 yard gain and replayed the down.

 

Am I wrong that offsetting means replay the down and the personal foul should be marked from that spot? Or was it applied correctly because Central accepted a penalty on top of the two offsetting?
