John Cena - 500th Make a Wish granted

Featured Replies

I'm not a wrestling fan and have never seen a John Cena movie. So I don't know anything about him beyond the occasional wrestling tv commercial I skip across.

But I saw a story on ESPN about him granting 500 make-a-wish requests. The 500th is for a young boy with Lukemia. 500 is a staggering number.

It's rare I would say anything good about a celebrity but based on this story this guy has earned my respect.

Kudos to John Cena. Well done.

That is really cool. Guy who seems to get it, and doesn't take himself to seriously.

I think we have discussed it here before just a little. No matter what you think of John Cena the wrestler you have to greatly admire John Cena the man.

And remember everyone, there are several reasons John Cena is the face of the WWE.

I love celebrities who use their star power for good!

And if I'm not mistaken, he does a lot outside Make-a-wish. When he visited a girl in Independence last year, I don't believe that was through make-a-wish.

That's an incredible number. Not that he does them all to have the most, but you'd have to think that's the most.
