TAC
To those who watched, did Dayton seem to take a step back farther from last season, or has Brossart improved significantly more? Just curious. Brossart was better than I expected. I do think they have bought in to coach Wiggins system. Their numbers are up. It was great to see them interact with the fans after the game. They believe in themselves and that can create issues for other teams. I did hear a couple of Dayton fans complaining about discipline or kids being in it for themselves versus the team, but that is a common theme when a team is losing. Dayton will be fine. They just need to utilize their strengths and continue to play hard. One boy went down pretty hard tonight. Hope both teams ended the game as healthy as possible. footstomp
Equally impressive was the size of the crowd. Although one section of the stands were closed, the place was packed! I saw a lot of school and community pride. You would have never known this program was in trouble a year. To see the student section rally around the team after the game was special to see. Thanks to Campbell Co schools for the use of the facility.
