Jefferson county has open enrollment but my son has played 2 yr for his current school

 

If he has played a varsity sport in a prior year, he would be ineligible for a year from his last participation in a varsity sport unless an exception applies, such as a "bona fide change of residence" discussed in bylaw 6. You will need to go through filing the paperwork with the KHSAA.

KHSAA says check with your school's athletic administrator with any questions first. I think they are trying to cut down on parent emails. I had a baseball question & that is the route I had to take.

Already got a couple of responses from some khsaa administration. Already went the other rout and then talk to the county person and received contradicting information that's why I went this route

Or if he was kicked out of his prior school that he hardshiped to
