Just a thought....if the football Gods blessed Monroe with a perfect game and they pull out the upset what would that actually do to the Football community!!!! Would it be considered a fluke...

They would say BG is down and get them now while you can. At the same time, that doesn't mean Monroe County wouldn't be a contender. Any team that can defeat BG whether they are down or not is a worthy contender in any class.

Monroe will be able to stand toe to toe for a while. Deangelo Wilson will show his speed against the Falcons and then the Purples will open up a can of Carruthers.

If BG comes and plays like they did against manual, Monroe won't score more than one time. This defense looks solid especially in the secondary. As already pointed out, all Clark Payne has to do is throw a few screens and it's off to the races from there. All respect to Monroe, but I have to go 42-7 Purples because of how well BG played in Louisville.
