Paradise City
Last night was a great time for all three teams to start off the 2015 season with some good competition. The games started with Owensboro vs Graves County under a 10/10 format from the 40 yd line, followed by Madisonville vs Graves County under the same format, the night finished off with a Madisonville vs. Owensboro full field scrimmage, specials dead, and some JV action at the end. The games were offered to fans free of admission while donations were accepted by the Maroon Cheerleaders for the family of fallen Hopkinsville Tiger JaYvon Quarles with $1,200 collected from all fans to help with any expenses the family may have. Scores reported were: Owensboro 34 Graves 14 Madisonville 21 Graves 7 Madisonville 7 Owensboro 7 JV - Madisonville 0 Owensboro

Eagle_Pride!!
I witnessed these scimmages and here are a few of my personal thought: 1) madisonville is going to be a very tough team defensively. 2)Owensboro didn't seem to impress me as I first thought they would. 3) Graves has a heck of an offensive line, just have to get the offensive unit together as one..they looked good at times..time will tell, but if they can come together behind this line then they have great potential.. 4) Graves will be starting a freshman qb..he is a gunslinger..one of the fast kids on the team..coach said in the radio show this morning that he can tuck and run well, but he will limit that this year sense he's a freshman.. 4) graves co defense looked terrible in the secondary..they seemed to line up right but they didn't gang tackle, wrap up their man or anything..better work on that quickly or major issues can arise.. Now I'm a diehard fan of the eagles, but I call it like I see it..so my predictions are: if graves can utilize their offensive line to meet the skills of their freshman qb then he can make things happen. defense has to step up next week or we're going to get killed.. Rambo4343
I think OHS can still be good, but I don't think people realize how important QB Nick Locher was for them. He graduating is a huge loss.
rookie57
Going to be a tuff year for the Eagles.
Eagle_Pride!!
Going to be a tuff year for the Eagles. Starting to believe ur statement to be true..the more I think about it the more I'm seeing this to be a "rebuilding year..u hope I'm wrong and the eagles can put all the pieces in place but I'm very skeptical at this point! :-(
Brown
Locher will be a huge loss no doubt. Owensboro returns alot though so they will be tough for anyone in the state again. Lots and Lots of speed. They have a pretty good schedule this year: @ Warren Central @ Bowling Green Madisonville Graves County Christian County Owensboro Catholic Henderson County
