Reds and RISP

I knew that the Reds were struggling in this area. I just didn't know how poorly as compared to other teams.

 

They are hitting .213 with RISP.

 

Dead last in MLB.

 

For comparison, SFG leads MLB with a .293 average.

The good news is that they are getting plenty of chances. They are 9th in ABs with RISP.

Wasn't it pointed out in one of the telecasts over the weekend that they batted an MLB best against one team (.313, Pirates), figure the RISP would also be high against the Buccos. Hard to believe that .213 average just because of the success against Pittsburgh. Things must be really,really bad against others
