August 4, 201511 yr Again, Dupree is not a 4-3 DE. You can't draft a player that doesn't fit your scheme in the 1st round. Let's see how this works out. You guys know draft classes are not really a known until 3-5 years in. Dupree could play de in a 4/3 and possibly do great at it. However he wouldnt have fit in well as an outside linebacker in a 4/3 especially how the Bengals play their linebackers.

You guys know draft classes are not really a known until 3-5 years in. Dupree played plenty DE in the 4-3 at UK they switched back in fourth to 3-4 and 4-3. The Bengals will line up in some 3 down linemen on passing downs sometimes also.
