To answer the thread question, my opinion did change. I always thought he should be banned from baseball but be allowed in the HOF. However, since he did bet as a player and still has not admitted it 25 years later, I have changed my mind. I also think he has probably done other things that have not totally come out yet...drug and mob related. I guess you could say I am just done with this lying bum. Again it is a shame as I really loved him as a player and he could have been a great manager as well.

It does matter what I think though...and with the voters, I may have as much chance of getting in as Pete...

Definitely think he should be in. He didn't cheat to accomplish the things he did on the field. Almost any stud who did great in the 90s and early 2000s possibly could have been in on the steroid train but just never got caught. Pete was one of the best ever to play and should be in. Now I could understand not letting him coach or be involved in baseball ever again.

Pete Rose was an incredible player. I'm not trying to ruin Pete's reputation, but I think that since there is proof that he lied, then he should not be allowed in. I think Pete had problems with gambling that needed to be fixed. I'm a huge Reds fan, but I think this is what should be done.
