Yellow card, do you know something you would like to share? Is it real Madrid or Villa?

Mike will not be seen at either of those 2 places either.

Ncc should be a top 3 team in nky

They were very deep last year and return one of the best underclassmen in Nky in Logan Muck. As a team I do not believe it will be a rebuilding year, it's all in how the coach uses the players he has.

I disagree. A small school like NCC depends on a few star players with an average supporting cast. This year, NCC has a rising star in Muck. Not much after that. Defense Will struggle, offense Will struggle. The only consistency I see them having Will be the coaching and keeping. Brian Anderson will start in between the pipes this year. Ending the dynasty of Grossers. Anderson allowed 2 goals in his sophomore year on JV. Athletic and impressive keeper.

As for the new coach, Jeff Martin is a "go hard" coach. He won't shy away from a challenge, and neither will his team, but the lack of depth and star players for NCC will lead to a below average year for the thoroughbreds.

Edited by 2 much info

One thing you can count on from NCC, year in and year out, strong year or rebuilding year, is that they Will play with grit and determination. Always a tough out come post-season.

Wow, go hard is correct......

I saw both games today and he ran his team after each game, both of which they won.

They looked like they continue to play Mike McDonald soccer and have a great work rate, this may amount to a very good year.

Was he actually "running" them after the matches, or was it a "cool down"?

He was running them. Apparently it is to show the opponent that even after a full game they still have "gas in the tank". Pretty sure a few of the boys had left it all on the field and really didnt need to run sprints afterwards especially in 90 plus degree temps.

I guess every coach has their own method and it is his squad.

After a match, I would hope that they did not have much left in the tank, if they do, I would question why they didn't play harder during the match.

Agreed. They did look pretty good overall and it never hurts to be the best conditioned team on the field.
