Not on the field was backup defensive end Margus Hunt and it’s believed he has suffered some kind of injury that could take him out of all of the spring drills. In his absence, second-year player Will Clarke took a bunch of snaps at right end. Hunt’s status for training camp is unclear…

I hate this for Hunt. I would still like to see him convert to DT. But either way, the Bengals are better off knowing now than closer to the season.

Additionally, with the Johnson back on the roster and a new and improved Clarke (we hope) Hunt wasn't looking like a lock for the roster either way.

Any news on his injury? The Bengals announced they will have joint practices with the Giants before their first preseason game.
