May 22, 201511 yr Apparently the Titans will go all out once Whisenhunt fails. It makes sense due to his love of Mariota.
May 22, 201511 yr I can't see Gruden coming back. He has had offers from much better teams. I don't know that an offer from anyone would be enough for him to coach again. He's got a really good gig, without any of the pressure, crappy hours or criticism that comes with coaching, but is still connected to the game in a high profile very nicely paying position. He's also already got a Super Bowl ring, so there's nothing really left for him to accomplish. At this point, I doubt he ever comes back.
May 22, 201511 yr I think Gruden (the good one) is holding out for the Bengals job. Marvin may retire or move to the front office.
May 22, 201511 yr I think Gruden (the good one) is holding out for the Bengals job. Marvin may retire or move to the front office. Keep dreaming.
May 22, 201511 yr Keep dreaming. It's ok. I'm happy with Marvin. No need to drag an old has been in from the broadcast booth when you have a perfectly good active coach that continues to get our team into the playoffs.
May 22, 201511 yr Any football fan in America would rather have Gruden. Proven success and not to mention a superbowl ring. Marvin hasn't won a playoff game while he has been in Cincinnati. He is the longest tenured coach to have a sub .500 record. If the Bengals had a different owner, Marvin would be toast. But, this is all fantasy anyways because Gruden is never coming back and Marvin will be the Bengals coach until he is 90. LOL
May 22, 201511 yr I think Gruden likes to see his name linked to jobs but enjoys the booth much more. Has to be less pressure than winning games in the NFL. I doubt he makes Andy play like Tom Brady so I'll skip the drama and keep Marvin.
