I would have to say Powell County now since Hazard got knocked out. Perry has wins over Powell and Hazard. Estill has wins over Powell and Perry. Knott is 19-3 vs Region opponents but has lost to both Perry and Hazard

These teams split games during the season, each winning on the other's home field. And each have similar won-loss records.

 

WYMT sports stated last night that KCC hadn't won the baseball region since 1993. I found that surprising.

I would assume Cornett will be on the mound for KCC.

I found the result of that game, surprising. Pretty cool to see that is was an 8th grader who got the win in a shutout performance.

Of course, I was pulling for my Commodores so dissapointing they're not playing tonight. However on a strong note, PCC was very young this season and will be very good the next 4 years.
