Not surprised. I know she's close to retirement age and I've always heard speculation she'd retire and move to Florida, perhaps to coach down there. Who knows? I do know that she was a terrific coach that did great things at Somerset, Boyle, and especially Danville. I also know that she was an absolute joy to watch on the sidelines, wearing out officials one trip down then joking with them the next time by. She talked the whole time, had no inner monologue. She was a competitor and a winner - but you could tell that she mostly wanted to make her kids better players. She did just that. I hate to see her leave.

Danville may have just become irrelevant in another female sport. Coaching sports at Danville is not for the faint of heart.

What is going on to cause all of the turnover in coaches?
