Would I be fine with them getting a quality wr who have proven themselves and still in their prime than pay big bucks for players like Peko and Malaluga.....YES!!!!!!!!

enough attention to what I've said as you think you have I've said over and over there is a difference in spending on your own when they are worth it such as AJ Green or Burfict etc. not overpay for their own avg players like Peko, Malaluga etc. so stop trying to state things you think I've said in the past when you aren't even close

 

So you are fine with potentially paying ten million a year each for just two receivers. Which with one of them being over paid and probably not producing and coming even close to his contract playing with what you say is the worst qb in the league. So yeah your idea makes great sense. Especially when your whole off season argument that year was proven pointless when the guys they did have finished in the top ten in passing. So yeah that kind of shut you up. However once they have a injury plagued year then you jump on that wagon again haha. That's great if your opinion is Dalton and Lewis are worst in the league. However then you can turn around and say well that proves the rest of the draft picks are bad to since they haven't won a playoff game. If you truly have the worst qb in the league your team usually sucks and barely wins. If you have the worst head coach in the league your team usually sucks. So you must have pretty good players everywhere else if you are going to win with the worst qb and coach in the league. Your opinions contradict your own opinions lol.

I think Dalton isn't good enough to win the big one and Lewis isn't good enough during games or preparing a team to win the big one. How can they be a great team if they've never won a single post season game? The only thing it means having the most draft picks on the roster is that they have the most draft picks on the roster period. It isn't a plus, it isn't anything, it simply means they have the most draft picks on the roster. That's it.

 

Look at the last 5 SB winners, how many of those teams had the most draft picks from their own drafts on their team when they won compared to all the other teams in the league? See my point...who cares if they have the most draft picks on the roster, it doesn't mean anything.

Look no further than two of the best franchises of all time in Pittsburgh and Green Bay they build their whole team through draft and have a great track record with that. The Bengals have started to really focus completely on that model and it has turned them into a consistent playoff team that can't go over the hump though.

 

Its simple Teams with a horrible QB don't win many games usually, teams with a horrible coach usually doesn't win many games. So if you have a team that someone says has the worst QB and Coach in the league, you would assume that team would be horrible correct? So how is it possible then for a team to overcome those odds and still make the playoffs 4 straight years which I believe only 4 other teams have done during this time span? You would think a team must have a lot of other good players then to overcome having the worst QB and Coach in the league to make that happen? So if the other players aren't that good either and you have the worst QB and Coach in the league then how are they not the Bengals of the 90's again? As I have said it just doesn't add up, its either one of the other. Those opinions completely contradict each other.

With the way the Bengals are drafting so far rds 1&2, I'm sure they will

still have the most draft picks on the team after this season because they just spent 2 picks on players that will probably not see the field next year unless there are injuries.

Definitely can't say I understand their thinking this year. I know they have been successful the last few years not picking for need and going best player available. However if you already have two guys at tackle starting and you just drafted another tackle in the first round. Then I dont know why you go OT again even if he was the highest guy on their board. So I definitely am a little confused with it so far this year. I do think they would have taken the DT taken right before they picked.

They have missed more than hit in the first 3 rounds the last several years yet some still think they've drafted great. Time will tell but this one doesn't look to be stellar.

2 tackles not even rates in top 5 and 2 TE's, they have so many needs yet seem to ignore them. That's what I don't like about the draft.
