Beechwood 6 Conner 4

Featured Replies

Frustrating year for the Cougars.

It was a very strange game. Both teams had lots of errors, and a play I dont think I have ever seen. A player from Conner stole second, and while everyone was waiting for the next pitch he some how walked back to 1st base without anyone seeing him...very odd. Never the less, good win for the tigers, and their your pitchers threw a pretty good game.

Yeah, he said he thought somebody said it was a foul ball. But the funny thing about it was that no one noticed till he was all the way back to 1st.

That's what I was thinking, maybe he thought it was a foul and the steal was unallowed. Strange though, that noone corrected him while walking back to first.

Must have thought he was leading off the wrong direction.
