April 23, 201511 yr Maybe they did it for the privacy of the witness or convict. Whatever reason I'm sure the police acted in the best interest of everyone, except her of course. Oh come on now Ref. Anytime this stuff happens I look very hard to find reasons explanations on why an officer, Fed, or security type would do whatever it is I'm looking at. The vast majority of these people in this line of work are good people, but some may not be too bright and others are just jerks that go overboard. The incident a few weeks back with the "buy a badge" 70 something year old officer, seems like a good person, not to bright and had horrible training, if any traning at all. Guru would be able to attest to this more than I, but you are under a lot of stress and emotion, adrenalin running wild, but you still need to keep a cool head. If she desides to sue, she will get a settlement. As she should if she decides to go that route. Oddly enough, even though it should be common sense, a lot of people still think that you can't record them whej they are working such jobs. Again, the USSC has ruled on this.
