Final in the Girls' Elite 8 from Western Kentucky

Male will take on the winner of Covington Holy Cross/Elizabethtown tomorrow.

MALE vs HENDERSON COUNTY (03/13/15)

Another early exit for the Lady Colonels. Dominated this Male team back in January at the LIT 47-28.

Coach Haile, no doubt an excellant Coach has dominated the weak 2nd region for years but just cannot seem to carry that dominance to the State Tourament. Henderson County, one of the largest schools in the state and by far the largest in the 2nd region just seems to under perform on the state level in sports. Boy's basketball for example has not won a regional title since 1999. They blew a good chance this year with a very experienced senior class which is very typical of the program. Well, there's always next year but probably the same results.

Congrats to Male.

Wow, the Diddle Arena score board was lighting up like a pinball machine. A great a game. Male has so many more young talented players - arguably more than any other team in Louisville.

That was a offensive showcase by both teams. Each team was finding the open player and she was converting at a high percentage. That was a fun game to watch, and Green is a beast. Has she committed yet? I know S Ill. was there salivating the entire game.

Henderson was turning the ball over late, and couldn't get over the hump. The fast pace wasn't comfortable for their guards as every time they was within a couple points, a turnover happened. I think they will dominate the 2nd region for years to come, but will that be good enough for their fanbase?

Was waiting for Henderson County to call off the press, which allowed Male to get many good looks from 2 feet.
