Id drop Owesboro to 12 and Bowling Green to 13 .rest looks good..Owensboro just doesnt have the quality wins..no bad losses..Doss Trinity and Wayne Co., but just lack quality wins exect for Bowling Green

 

That was my problem with Owensboro but talent-wise Holman and Miller help them a ton.

Jefferson is back on the team at Doss.

 

LexCath made it out of the toughest district in the state and arguably the toughest region. They earned their PP92 seed.

 

5-11 was super hard.

 

Wasn't aware that Jefferson was back on the team at Doss. That does change the analysis. Know Catholic is battle tested, but they also got some breaks, like any team would in winning the 11th usually does. What I mean by this: they got Dunbar after Dunbar hadn't been able to practice for awhile because of snow and they get Station when they are playing without Dishman. They did what they had to do and beat everyone in front of them though, and were the champs of their district.

 

At the end of the day, I think they are beatable and have some holes that a Hopkinsville or Owensboro could expose. I'll be really interested in seeing how they defend Boyle County's trio, particularly Elkins. If you have size, I think you can hurt Catholic and that's going to wind up being their downfall. They aren't what I'd consider super athletic, but most of all, I wonder how well they can defend the post and control the boards the level they'll need to in order to win State.

T10. Bowling Green

T10. Campbell County

T10. Calloway County

 

T13. Collins

T13. Johnson Central

T13. Williamsburg

T13. Elliott County

 

That's pretty close to how I'd break it down too. I would drop Williamsburg and Elliott County down a tier and have them at 15/16 though.

 

I'll be a bit intrigued to see what Collins has. Might be a little better than people are thinking they are.

 

I really like Johnson Central and think that their early losses that look bad are the result of injuries to key players like Gullett, however, they just aren't going to be able to beat Ballard in anything but a huge upset.

Great point..I live in Evansville area but will be making the trip to Session 1..work schedule only allows me too see those 2 games, hope those are two good ones.. but id like to see Bowling Green also..and Knott Central
