Grant County 55 Shelby County 47 (8th Region Quarterfinal)

Featured Replies

Impressive morning performance by the Braves, they continue to play well. They play the Oldham-Gallatin winner Monday night in the first semi-final at Henry County

Final. I think this is Grant County's first regional tournament win in ten years. Congrats to coach And players

How in the world did you beat me to it? I'm sitting right here and started posting when the horn sounded. Fast fingers huh

Good to see the Braves advance.

"Sitting right here" at Henry Co HS? LOL.

I just watched it online, which I am sure is delayed a bit.

Congrats to the Braves, who won their first region tournament game since 2003 (they had gone 0-6 since).

Tremendous turnaround since the regular season matchup, won by Shelby, 71-50.

Obviously, Shelby missed their big center, who rolled his ankle in the district 30 final, but...

Grant overcame a slew of turnovers to come away with the win, anyway.

Grant moves to the semi-finals, where they will face Oldham County on Monday. The game will be broadcast by the Pegasus Sports Network The Pegasus Sports Network - PSN
