Any back up plans being talked about for the region tourneys? Sounding like a couple weeks ago, if not worse for much of the state rolling in tomorrow and going into Thursday & temps around 0 or below Friday...sounds like it's not going anywhere for a while. Sounds familiar, huh?

Postpone them till April, if they can do it with wrestling they can do it with basketball.

15th Region has already altered their schedule. See the 15th Region Tournament Edition Thread for the schedule updates I posted. It was just voted on today.

Who makes these decisions? Lex KHSAA or regional officials?

For the 15th Region its regional officials with correspondance from participating AD's. The KHSAA dont care when you have the tournament as long as you have a champion ready to go by the state tournament and that everyone got a chance to qualify for the regional tournament. In the 15th there is a host district each year (58th this year) that will name a tournament coordinator.
