I saw that UHA team several times that year, and their talent was staggering. And, there is no doubt Christian Co beating them was an upset. But, Christian was no slouch. They entered the post season at 20-7.

 

From what I've read that Christian Co team was probably a top 20 team in the state.

It's just so rare that a team favored to win the state loses in the district.

2013-2014 Mason County and Augusta

2015 Clark County and Paris/ Bourbon County and Montgomery County

 

2014 Augusta Panthers win over Mason County who was ranked 25th in the State last season. That would have to be right up there.

 

Being from the 10th region, these are the ones I too think that would be talked about for a few years to come.

Was that the year that Morgan had Whitney Williams that him and 2 others were killed in a car wreck going back to MSU after the girls district game, and the funeral was that day?

No I think that was the next year or the year after that.
