Pat Dad Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Final. Evan Potter pitched for Knott Central. Not sure who pitched for LCC. I wasn't at the game and I recieved updates by phone. Once I get more details, I will post them.
Pat Dad Posted April 12, 2006 Author Posted April 12, 2006 Nice win for LCC. Was that a seeded game? I don't think they seed in the 53rd.
BadCat Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Letcher and Lee play Saturday, should be good one.
The Professor Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Letcher and Lee play Saturday, should be good one. Former coaching partners....should be interesting.
baseballmomma Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Nice win for LCC. Was that a seeded game? Yes this was a seeded game. Letcher Central is a solid ball club and is very well coached. They will make plenty of noise in the region this year. Knott did not hit the ball well at all tonight, but played very solid on defense and got a good pitching outing. If their bats can come alive they will be a force in the region as well.
Pat Dad Posted April 12, 2006 Author Posted April 12, 2006 Didn't know they seeded. KCC only had a couple of hits. Bats really need to come alive. Potter pitched a good game. I know the season is still young, but KCC is going to have to cut down on the errors. Letcher had a few errors as well. Either team could have lost or won this game.

PatDad, I dont know what kind of information you received about the game, but defense was not the problem last night. The defense looked very solid last night. If im not mistaken they only committed 1 error and that was on a play where the runner had already reached base safely. Hitting is what hurt the Pats last night and has hurt them for the last 3 or 4 games. They had men in scoring position several different times but could not come up with a key hit to drive someone in. All it would have took for KCC to win the game was 1-2 more hits. They need to get the bats going and they will soon.

And I am very sure that Hammonds will tweak and get the boys on track.

They are going to have a good season and will beat some quality teams. Looking forward to the matchup with North Laurel friday.
