Ryles whole student section did every thing Coach Perkins did the entire game. For spectators if may or may not been funny but as a coach I would have been annoyed

 

I've seen this done before at boys games, but never at a girls games. Usually the girls don't get the same size student sections. Honestly, you have to give props to the Ryle students for coming out to support the girls team.

 

It is funny if you are "with" the same team as the student section or even an "unbiased" spectator. I could see where it would be very annoying if it's being done to your coach.

 

When I saw this done, I watched to coach it was being done to to see how it effected him. He never once paid any attention to it. He might not have known it was going on.

Thank goodness fans showed up. That's a rarity in NKY. Have fun , kids. Just keep it clean.

Could not agree more ..lady Raiders were fired up with the fan support and almost pulled off the upset..FANtastic environment with fans nearly rushing the court to celebrate Jumps buzzer beater 3 and returning to the seats after the ref wave off ....credit to Bulldogs for composure in OT...

Senior forward Alexus Mayes nailed a 3-pointer with under 10 seconds remaining to tie the score, and Holmes went on to hold off Ryle’s upset bid, defeating the Raiders in overtime, 50-45, Friday night.

 

Mayes had not scored prior to making her only field goal of the game, which tied the score at 39. Junior forward Aimee Jump followed that basket by hitting a 3-pointer on Ryle’s final possession of regulation, but the basket was ruled to have come after time expired and was not allowed.

 

Sophomore guard Jaynice Stovall and junior guard Jynea Harris each scored five points for the Bulldogs in the overtime, with Stovall making three of five free throws. Mayes had Holmes other point in overtime, when Holmes made five of 10 free throws.

 

Harris led Holmes with 15 points, followed by 10 by freshman guard Laila Johnson.

 

Jump matched Harris with 15 points, and also pulled down six rebounds with seven blocks. Junior forward Carly Lange added 11 points for the Raiders.
