Holy Cross 52 Dixie Heights 28

Recommended Posts

Not positive but I think the final score was 50-28 Holy Cross.

No hangover from the All A run for the Indians tonight as some suspected might happen. Indians defense was outstanding again tonight. Dixie got nothing easy all night. Liza Tibbs held to 4 or 6 points. Deja Turner and Ally Mayhaus combined for 29 points.

Next up for Holy Cross...Notre Dame Friday night at the Finn Activity Center in a big 35th district seed game. If Holy Cross wins they earn the #1 seed in the upcoming 35th district tournament. You can catch that game live on Holy Cross Internet Radio starting at 7:20 pm. Log onto ihigh.com/school189 to access live broadcast.

I figured this to be a little better of a game the score doesn't really show how ugly this game was Dixie seems to hurt big time when it comes to an inside game other then Tibbs! Where is she going to play her college ball at?

HC dominated every aspect of the game from the start. Dixie was slow getting the ball up the court, passed the around the perimeter as if it was a practice drill killing minutes off the clock. On a positive note, couple of talented guards coming up next year.
