I don't put much stock in the outcome of scrimmages, as its basically just a glorified practice. But out of curiosity, does anyone have any scoring info?

Not bad. Again it's just a scrimmage so its hard to tell much from the score. I know nothing about Spring Valley this year, but traditionally they are competitive in wv's largest class.

 

I did take a quick look at their schedule and they may struggle a bit this year. It's loaded with some great teams from Huntington/Charleston.

Hope they are loaded and Ashlsnd is that good. Ashland D played lights out in the scrimmage today. Baker is Baker running around and through most. Only carried a few times buddy said it was taking multiply players to bring him down. Brown looked strong as well.

I'm not sure if they are loaded or not, but they finished the regular season 7-3 last year, with a loss to South Charleston in the opening round of the playoffs. South Charleston is traditionally one of the best in wv's largest class.

 

They play a pretty tough schedule with games against Cabbell Midland, Huntington High, George Washington, Capital High to name a few.

 

Regardless of any of that, it looks promising that Ashlands defense shut them out. They are usually a pretty balanced team. To shut them out and still score 28 with Q playing a limited role sounds excellent to me.

Agreed going to be a fun team to watch a lot of expectations for this team. Wish they played this Friday.
