Playing multiple sports vs. taking winter/spring off to "work out"

Featured Replies

My son plays muti sports in high school. He loves it and does pretty well at them. One of the sports has given him a free ride at a state University. Now this was never planned or something that was pushed for. 1st he does very well in school. If the grades slip your not playing what you love. 2nd he made his self better at the sport he will be playing at the next level. Going from 185lb Freshman to 235lb Senior. I think kids should play as many sports they can in high school as long as this don't hurt their grades.

Most kids in my experience do better in class with behavior and grades DURING the season.
