Scrimmages:

Beechwood 8/15

Walnut Hills 8/21

Regular Season:

Boone County 8/28

Simon Kenton 9/4

@ Scott 9/11

@ Dixie 9/18

@ (Newport) N.C.C 9/25

@ Lloyd 10/2

Campbell County 10/9

@ Ryle 10/16

Cooper 10/23

Mason County 10/30

This Conner team had a rough learning year this past season, but this season they are returning basically every single starter but maybe 3 or 4. This will be a much more mature style team this season.

What will the Cougars do this season?

Who will stand out and help lead this team?

What will they need to do this season to improve on last season?

Predictions?

Does Ebarb return for the Cougars? Padgett and Ebarb were the two bright spots for sure on that team and if they return that is a nice nucleus to build on!

Then Conner has a chance to be a pretty good football team next year!

That district should be a fun one to watch as Conner, Cooper, and Ryle should all have talented teams next year!

That certainly does not look like a 6A caliber schedule. If Conner wants to step up to 6A football, they need to schedule like a 6A program. JMO

3 out of district 6a teams and two state finalists from last year looks pretty good.

Fair enough. I was thinking a Highlands or Cov Cath may better prepare them for the grind of 6A football. Perhaps in the next cycle the plan is to upgrade it abit. Good luck to them in 6A.

I've heard they tried to schedule Highlands but they didn't have room.

But this Conner team that is only loosing 2 true starters on Defense and on the offensive side of the ball they are only loosing 2 starters. The offensive line on paper only loosing their center. looks like it could help this team tremendously and i'm sure they will be improving majorly over the off season. And their is a rumor that a bigger QB has transferred from some school in Indiana. that should be interesting to watch if that is true. And this is still the least talked about team in the 9th region
