Holy Cross with a convincing 23 point win over NCC to send them to the all A Championship tomorrow night against St Henry.

Convincing,no way! 30- 18 to start the fourth? If ncc shoots the ball just a little this is a much closer game! Ncc was not going to win this game but wide open looks just would not go. Ncc did a great job on the bigs all night but did tire late in the 4th. Box score won't show it but number 21 for Holycross played a terrific all around game!

Booth teams were struggling to hit shots tonight. The 4th quarter Holy Cross pulled away with with several second chance points. Ncc just not enough height to keep Holy Cross off the boards. Game was 18 to 12 at the half. The second half Ncc struggling with poor shot selection, and Holy Cross getting some short range shots to extend the lead. Very hard fought game, both teams left it out on the court.

Holy Cross moves on to Play St. Henry tomorrow in the finals of the 9th region all A.

The hc grks looked like they haven't played together in quite awhile. However this was a good because one ncc tried slowing the game down hc slowed and showed patience. As far as doing a good job on the bigs of hc that didn't happen. Not sure what game was being watched. Either way this game did not in my opinion live up to its billing.

Hc was never in jeopardy if losing this game.

Holycross will only get better, they were no where near 100 percent! Some girls for Holycross struggling with conditioning. To be expected after being off for awhile. Good luck to the Indians tomorrow night.

23 points against a good team like NCC is a convincing win to me! As far as stopping the bigs that didn't happen Ally Mayhouse Sp? Had 13 points along with 13 rebounds!

Holy Cross Scoring:

Deja Turner 13

Aleah Tucker 10

Ally Mayhaus 7

Cessie Mayhaus 7

Dajah McClendon 5

Abby Hassert 2

Morgan Gabbard 1

NCC Scoring:

Ansley Davenport 9

Loren Zimmerman 6

Sarah Neace 3

Olivia Schaulk 2

Meg Martin 2

Michaela Ware 0 (Just one of those games for a really good player. Couldn't get anything to fall tonight).

I apologize turner with 13 and 13

Holding HolyCross to 16 points from there bigs was in my opinion a very nice job.

Ncc had a chance to cut the lead down to 7 or 8 with about 5 minutes to go,they missed a contested lay up and from that point on Holy Cross rocked the house!

Attended this game and I was surprised by a couple off the court incidents between parents. Didn't know catholic school parents got so dang rowdy. And they talk about us public school parents.... Lol

That gym is very very dark! Hard to shoot when you can't see the basket.

No love lost between these two schools! Strong language being tossed out in the area I was sitting! I believe some extra police officers were called in after the parent argument! Hard to believe people get that worked up!

I overheard the argument and they were saying "TASTE GREAT","LESS FILLING".
