Battery packs for iPhone 6

Featured Replies

Since Apple continues to sacrifice battery life to get the thinnest device on the market I am in need of one. And since Mophie takes their sweet time in rolling out battery packs for new iPhones, I am looking for a good one now.

Does anyone have any experience with them? I am looking for a sleek looking one that can extend the battery by about 100%. Also one that you can just use the iPhone charging cable to charge the pack and the phone at the same time. A salesperson at Verizon told me of some lady that came in a few weeks ago and she was talking about how she found a good one on Amazon for like $40. He also said that she sounded like she knew a lot about tech stuff.

Right now I have an Incipio case and I really like it, so something with that style.

You have bad battery life with your 6? Mine is the best battery life I have had by far. I can actually go a whole day without having to recharge my phone.

That's always be number one complaint for every model. But instead of not making them credit card thin they should keep some extra thickness and increase battery life. No matter what they say, you can only tweet out so much from a battery.

I was on mine yesterday on FB and a couple other apps for just 40 mins and it was already at 85%. A Verizon rep who used to work for Apple says that it about normal for the 6. But it's not satisfactory.

Same here. Usually 2-3 days between charges unless I've got the earbuds in a lot. I've been totally thrilled with the battery performance on my 6.

I don't own the case above but it seems like what you are looking for and just saw it on Gizmodo

Thank you! I was considering one other one, but decided to try the one that you posted. This one and the other I was considering both charged with the lighting cable so you don't need to use a USB (which doesn't that mean I would need a computer nearby as well?).

Thanks again Pete W, I'm guessing that company is run out of someone's garage.

On Dec 30th I ordred the case from them, and put a note in as well that I need it by Jan 12, as I was only ordering it as I was headed out of the country on the 12th and that is the only reason in ordering it.

I never received anything from them so early on Jan 2 I emailed them. They responded the same day claiming that they were out of stock and they would be getting more in the beginning of this week.

When I ordred inwas never informed that they were out of stock, so their system is very poor. I also emailed them back asking if I would get the case in time, if not I would cancel and order from Amazon from another company that would have it to me on time, that email was sent 5 mins after they emailed me on Jan 2nd.

Not only have they not responded to my second email, they have not responded to the other two emails I sent early this week. Or the phone call I placed yesterday.

Now it's too late to order from Amazon and have the other case here on time. So I just did what I informed this first company what I would do. I just went to my bank and showed them that the company will not respond and asked to cancel the charge, which they did. Not a reliable company.

But thanks for the help

Well, a couple of weeks ago the company finally emailed me back. They are a company of two running it out of a garage. I decided to go without the item for s couple more weeks, and I got it yesterday. It's really nice. I drained my battery down to 2% and pressed the button on the battery pack, after it got to 100% it shuts off, and I had another charge of about 45% left afterwards. So, almost 150% more battery life.

It is one of those items that even a startup company has access too, and the supplier simply puts the name of your company on the item so it looks like it's yours. But I did give this place some advice, such as to let customers know if the item is in stock, and if not let them know before they pay, as well as how long it will take to ship. But I recommend this item if you are on your iPhone all day.
