Completely agree with the bolded, however I'd take the 4 quarterbacks that you've mentioned any day over Dalton.

 

Perhaps a stinker here and there, but certainly have proven themselves as some of the most awesome reliable in the game.

 

Dalton really can't be mentioned in the same breath as those guys, and even in one of his more unusual outings against the Bengals, Manning still to me looked like the better more experienced quarterback than did Dalton in last Monday night's game.

 

He certainly ultimately threw the game away, but his 3rd quarter comeback still showed more brilliance in a more typical Manning fashion than did Dalton the entire game.

Not trying to compare the QBs play, only that even the elite lay an egg or two. Just trying to emphasize the importance of the run game for them.

 

Dalton has been pretty average outside of his stinkers. Rodgers, Brady, Peyton and Ben were very very good outside of their stinkers.

 

No question.

Still don't believe in Dalton when it matters. Short week. Bengals go down by 10.
