I have to say it's pure entertainment to watch this kid play each time. He moves so smoothly and his passes are just unreal. I look forward to watching this young man play at the next level.

I really thought Holmes had this one wrapped up. Probably shouldn't have left at the end of the 3rd. Lol! Bullitt East just doesn't play like they used to. Looked flat and uninspired for 3 quarters. Apparently they found some magic in the 4th. I won't leave early tonight.

Holmes' inability to make ft's down the stretch cost them this game...plain and simple.

 

Bullitt East pressure forced some turnovers but if Holmes makes ft's they win this game. 5/12 simply isn't going to get it done...especially when you aren't hitting the front end of the bonus late in the game with a lead.

 

Holmes didn't play smart down the stretch. Rather than breaking the pressure and pulling the ball out, there were three straight possessions with an 8 point lead where they tried to score and turned the ball over and took an off balance shot that allowed BE to get the rebound and go down and score.

 

Learning experience but I didn't walk away thinking BE was a better team and the coaches and media I was talking to after said the same thing. Things don't get easier with Ballard coming up tonight.

You have to score often for the press to work and it wasn't until the 4th qtr that BE scored often enough to press Holmes.

Worse game BE has had finishing at the rim on easy baskets that we normally make which may have been nerves . Even though there's experience this is a big stage for players.

Exactly, there was a lid on the rim for East. I see some people want to blame a few free throws for the loss to Holmes...Though I'll say the two banked in three balls for Holmes cancels that argument out. I was surprised East turned over Holmes & Bolden down the stretch with such success.
