FatNate
Keaton Belcher saw the first win of his varsity coaching career tonight against the Juggernauts of Lloyd! This game was an absolute foul fest. Junior Hunter Wood led the Wildcats with 18 points. Senior Hunter Lea was two rebounds shy of a double-double posting a 12 points, 8 rebound effort. 8th grader Dontaie Allen finished with 9 points. Five off free throws, two off put backs. The most important stat could be Junior Tanner Pugh going 11-14 from the free throw line. Lloyd had a tough night defensively as four of their players fouled out. Sergio Gutierrez and LaShunn Townsend looked impressive for the Juggernauts! The Wildcats improve to 1-3. For their next game they travel to Carlisle to take on district rival Nicholas County in a game which could lead to possible regional tournament implications. Lloyd falls to 1-3. Their next game is a fought in region game against Ethan Snapp and the Newport Wildcats.
