There are a few girls on a Mason County swimming team also.

Girls play soccer, golf, cross-country, basketball, softball, tennis, indoor track and outdoor track. Not sure if cheerleading counts as a varsity sport; if so, it would offset football.

Wrestling:

KHSAA does not count cheerleading as a sport. If the swim team is a girls only team, then that would make the 8 and 8 for boys and girls.

Volleyball is a major sport in Louisville , Nky ,and Lexington . It should be at Mason and is about 20 years too late coming there , but I guess better late than never . Maybe someone with the wherewithal will start a JO program there too.
