Im starting to think Apollo just isnt as good as i expected them to be. Maybe it is just talking them a little while to get used to Barker's system or maybe they just rely on Eli Wright to much. Nothing against Madison Central but this is a game that i expect a top 15 team should win. Good news is, they have all season to get better. I just need to scale back my expectations for now.

 

From what I saw, Apollo DOESN'T run their offense through Wright enough. When you have a high major kid like him that can take his man off the dribble or hit the outside shot, you don't run your offense through a 6'3 post player. When Apollo gives the ball to Wright in a 1-4 set or isolation, they have a lot of success because of how hood Wright is.

 

It's early though. Honestly, Apollo didn't defend well and dug a big hole early. When they started defending MC struggled.
