State Final Game Tapes

I'm trying to find past Beechwood State Final game tapes does anyone know where I can find them?

Okay, so I emailed Elden May at the KHSAA to find out about how to get DVD copies of the state championship games. He gave me the contact info for the company who had taken all of the past films and transferred them to DVD, and through a few emails, I was able to find out that all of them are back in the KHSAA's archive file at the EKU Library's Special Collections & Archives Department. They can be obtained for $15 dollars each (as long as they are just being purchased for personal use). They said as long as the film was still on record, they should have all of them available for football and basketball.

 

1) Call the library's Special Collections & Archives Department (859-622-1792) and ask to speak with one of the archivists to verify that they do have the specific game you are looking for in the archive. They may or may not give you a specific archive number for the video.

 

2) Go to the Special Collections & Archives website, fill out and submit their audio-visual duplication form: HERE.

 

3) Print, and fill out the application to publish form: HERE.

 

4) Mail page 1 of the application to publish form, along with a check made out to "Eastern Kentucky University" for the appropriate amount. Schedule of fees is located HERE, along with the correct mailing address.

They also have state basketball game films on file as well. Not sure about other sports beyond that.

I know there are a few I have in mind of ordering. 4A 87, 4A 93 and the epic Male/T game. Are there others people might suggest? Anyone games that had teams with interesting offenses or defenses?
