Never really scratched the surface with them, but I've liked it when I hear it.

 

Wasn't sure if you and CWB had a predisposition against mopey stuff.

 

For me, The Smiths were amazing because of Johnny Marr's incredible guitar and producing work. As far as Morrissey goes, you either dig the croon or you don't. I do — probably why I also dig Chris Isaak's and Dwight Yoakam's delivery.
