Ashland is killing theirself. They were moving the ball well, but stalled after a clipping penalty. That penalty led to a 16 yard punt which set JC up with great field position. Yet Ashland held JC to a field goal. Then turned around with a bad snap that led to a 4th and 21. JC is now marching down the field at the end of the first. JC 3 - Ashland 0.

I won't be able to give many updates tonight due to going out of town in the morning.

Johnson Central 10 Ashland 0 11:19 2nd quarter.

Another drive killed by a penalty.. Ashland appears to go for it at 4th and 7 but calls timeout. JC gets the bl at their own 34, that's the deepest filed position JC has had thus far. Yet another penalty by Ashland which puts it at 1st and 5.

Johnson Central 17 Ashland 0 1:22 left in half

JC 17-0

Reminds me of the LSU - UK game last week. I can't think of.much else Ashland can do wrong.

Some very questionable coaching by Ashland. They turned it over on downs on their own 45 yard line. Now the Golden Eagles are already in FG range on a 25 yard run by Workman. 18 secs. left in 1st.

Ashland is in trouble.. As if it hasn't been obvious this season, play calling and penalties have been attrocious.

Agreed.. It has been a problem all season.

correct FG distance

37 yard fg by Pack is good.. JC is leading 20-0.

Didn't expect JC to dominate in such a fashion. Hopefully they will continue to pour it on in the 2nd half

If I know the Matney well at all, I imagine they will.

Johnson Central recovers an onside kick.
