Collins is now 4-4 and 3-0 in the district. They have a big game next week at North Oldham. A win guarantees a 5th straight district title.

Never mind I think I answered my own question. I believe the 3-way tie breaker is based on the number of wins of the opponents you have defeated. In that case, Collins' tough out of district schedule would hurt them. It looks like if they don't beat North Oldham they would most likely end up in 3rd place.

I think Spencer would've won anyways, but I don't see how a 6 minute game can be considered final...

 

That game does give them quite a few points as well as Thomas Nelson plays a pitiful schedule. It appears that 6 minute game will make a huge difference.

Not sure on the yardage, but freshman QB JR Lucas was 14-22 passing with a 30 yard TD pass to freshman Nasean Roseberry. Roseberry also had an 11 yard TD run. Blanton Creque hit two field goals, one from 25 yards and another from 47 yards.

 

This was Collins' 50th win as a program, brining Jerry Lucas' coaching record to 50-15 (.769 win percentage). Collins is also 19-1 all time against district competition.

Wasn't Coach Lucas a head coach somewhere before? Is that his overall record or record at Collins?

The 50-15 is at Collins. I think it is his first job as HC but I could be wrong. I believe he was OC at Shelby County before taking the job at Collins.

That would be Western Hills. Took Henry Co. Job for a couple of days but didn't work out.
