PurplePride92 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 an inditement of Pulaski County or indicator that North Laurel is much better then many thought? I've been on the North Laurel bandwagon for a while. They are a well coached team that has been very competitive with teams over the last two years and is looking for that first quality win to get some recognition. They came really close tonight. I didn't expect them to win this game nor did I think it would be this close. They are on their way for sure. After seeing this outcome only Warren Central scares me to stand in the way of BG's 4th consecutive title.
catfan09 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 It seems like this game is always close.. Last year seemed to be a scrappy one as well.. Pulaski had two drives , one ending in fumble touchback on goal line the other a TOD after two penalties on the 1.. Those mistakes can't happen as the season goes on. When you let a team stick around going into 4th anything can happen.. There's a few factors that could credit to a closer game but you gotta give credit where it's due.. NL hung around and almost pulled the upset..

Jumper_Dad Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Listened to the game briefly last night, Pulaski came out in the second half with a ground and pound attack according to the radio guys. At one point Pulaski had held the ball for 6+ minutes to open the third quarter. I don't much other than that the radio guys said that the coach had been wanting to pound the ball some and had been working on it.
