Cooper is better than people think, but a district rivalry game is always a tough match with these two teams. Conner looked good against South Oldham but the defense began to weaken in the second half. I believe it was 24 and 12 best game so far. The QB (12) looked better. Maybe he didn't feel like he was looking over his shoulder anymore. Either way He looked more confident and focused. Good for him. As the QB goes so goes the Cougars. This could be a Cooper blowout or a close Cougar win.

I will be STUNNED if Conner puts up more than 3 TD's against Cooper's D which is nearly back to full strength.

This game for the most part has always been a good game. It has never really mattered (minus the first and second year of Cooper's existence) what each team had. I expect an exciting game with a huge crowd. I'll take Cooper in the game but there's no way I'll be able to predict a score just by going off what their past games have been like.

Call it for what it is. Conner is terrible this year, if Cooper doesn't win by at least 3+TDs they should be disappointed. Even with Ryles sorry offense, the 1's hung 40 something on them, and the D only gave up 7pts. This should be a Cooper blowout!

I hope you are right, but there is something to be said for a close rivalry where the teams do not like each other. One team may be way more talented and it just doesn't matter. Should Cooper win? Easy, yes. But that doesn't mean it will happen. Conner is not a bad football team, IMO, just inexperienced. I expect a sloppy, hard fought game with Cooper getting a W to go 2-0 in district play and a stranglehold on 1st place!
