I'm not a huge fan of girl's basketball but Rowan outplayed Boyd tonight. Boyd didn't score a point in the 3rd quarter until there was less than one minute in the quarter. I stuck around to see if Rowan could hold them scoreless for the entire quarter. Troy Lee Thomas is a good coach.

Boyd Co. could have made this a close game, but they struggled making shots right at the basket...On numerous occasions without a hand in their face. At the same time, take nothing away from Rowan Co. as they played the type of game they needed to to win...Rowan County's #20 played a great game...and if she reads this post...her shot got "bitter" each time...great game amber!

Well, I predicted a tremendous defensive effort in the previous post with Rowan winning 37 to 32, not to far off wouldn't you say??? Rowan is laying the table for an improbable seat at the table for the championship. Watch out 16th Region, Troy Lee knows a little about basketball...
