I really enjoyed watching Simmons the couple times I've seen over the last two years. Definitely one of the better players that doesn't get much recognition in the rest of the state.

Tucker Sine from Bowling Green deserves some consideration. Great guard!

Based off national rankings and scholarship offers, it has to be Aric Holman and not even close.

Having said that, David Simmons is probably the most valuable player to his team.

Eli Pepper, JaQualis Matlock and Justin Miller are all kids who are valuable to their teams and will play at the next level.

I haven't seen Pepper play so I can't comment on his play.

I can't believe I forgot about Holman. His size and athleticism will help him out tremendously in the next level.

When it comes to JaQualis Matlock I have been impressed with him since he was a sophomore but cant really tell how he will pan out in the next level.

The amount of improvement I've seen in a years time with Simmons has almost been exponential which is why I like his game and his demeanor.

Are you joking? He is good but top player in WKY? He is a DII kid....

Best player in Warren County. Led his team to the Final Four last season.

Just because he isn't D1 doesn't mean he can't be a top player.

And just because you lead your team in points doesn't make you the top player in WKY either... IMO it is a combination of skill, how important you are to your team, and how you project at the college level... For those reasons, I would put Kobe Caldwell, Jared Savage, Malik Carothers, Dylan Gerald's, Aric Holman, Justin Miller, and several others ahead of him.. Still a good player with an incredible motor, but just nowhere near #1 in WKY...

Never said he should be #1, just said he should at least be considered. It wasn't Ayers, Fant, or Stivers that made BG go, it was Sine. Anytime you watched BG play, and they needed a basket, Sine delivered. He is a terrific player and very very VERY frustrating to a fan of an opposing team.

Keefer Dalton might not be in western Kentucky but in the 4th region has to be considered western Kentucky.
