The facts are after the running clock was in place when Manual led 36-0, Doc still left his starter in and "allowed" or called the play for him to throw a final touchdown pass. PRP's coach Hiser took the high road and didn't complain about the beat down. Dr. Lucas must have suffered temporary amnesia.:taz:

What did Dr. Lucas say? I have never heard this, not saying it didn't happen. It's my opinion that it is never a teams job to stop scoring.

I brought back the thread from 2010 for your perusal. Note the reference to Manual using timeouts so they could score against Trinity's #2 defense in the regular season game. Then Trinity used a timeout to score against Manual in the waning seconds of the playoff game. It was a simple run play. Manual couldn't stop it. Check out the 2011 threads regarding student chants, etc. Colorful to say the least.

There is definately bad blood between the two schools. However. nothing was ever said by Lucas to constitute a "hissy fit". Now Beatty and Zuberer both are a mess at times and definitely have issues with one another.

Through 3 games Manual has given up 14 points while scoring 103 (Central, Fern Creek and PRP). They have Ballard this Friday.
